The Spectrum Office hosts several events through the academic year that help students find access to community, educational workshops, and moments of queer joy.


Destination Q

Destination Q, traditionally held during the Fall semester, is a multi-day leadership experience for undergraduate students engaged in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) advocacy at WashU to explore leadership and identity development.


Spectrum Awards

The Spectrum Awards ceremony recognizes WashU students, staff, and faculty and St. Louis community members who live and lead authentically and perform direct advocacy and service to LGBTQIA+ communities.


Lavender Graduation Ceremony

The Lavender Graduation Ceremony honors the achievements and contributions of undergraduate, graduate and professional LGBTQIA+ students and allies who have gone above and beyond to create a more equitable campus for the LGBTQIA+ community.


Lavender Leaders

Lavender Leaders is a new leadership experience offered by Campus Life and geared towards LGBTQIA+ students looking to build mentorship and career development for life after WashU.
